Getting Ready for Winter: PMHS Maintenance Week Is Here

Heads up, friends! Pope Memorial Humane Society will be closed to public visits from Monday, October 13, through Thursday, October 16, for our twice-yearly major maintenance break. We’ll reopen to the public on Friday, October 17, at 11 a.m.

During this time, our team will roll up their sleeves for a deep clean of the shelter, prep the grounds for the colder months ahead, and complete important projects that are difficult to tackle while the shelter is open to visitors.

While our doors will be closed, all PMHS assistance programs and resources will remain available. Our dedicated staff and volunteers will still be on-site caring for the animals and assisting our community.
