The annual Kid’s Day event at Pope Memorial Humane Society has become a tradition for animal-loving families. We want you to join PMHS staff and volunteers as we celebrate National Be Kind to Animals Week at Pope Memorial Humane Society on Saturday, May 13th, rain or shine, from 12 pm – 3 pm.
You’ll meet furry and feathered friends, practice at the “Be a Veterinarian Station,” play Cats vs. Dog beanbag toss, create blankets for foster kittens, and make a unique gift for Mom for Mother’s Day (shhh, don’t tell mom) and so much more!
Weather permitting, you’ll also make giant bubbles and have fun with some sidewalk chalk and other outside fun!
Oh, and snacks too! Shoutout to Shepard Storage and Shepard Auto for providing all the kiddos with snacks for an afternoon of fun!
There’s plenty of fun to be had, with more activities added every day!
No entry fees – just a celebration of kids, pets, and kindness! We hope you’ll join us.
