September Success: 122 Cats, Dogs, and More Adopted from PMHS

September at Pope Memorial Humane Society was busy, loud, a little chaotic… and absolutely incredible. Why? Because 122 animals found their families last month! Cats, dogs, rabbits, and even birds packed their bags (okay, not literally) and headed home.

Here’s the thing, though: while 122 animals left the shelter, 171 came into our care in September. The need never slows down. But, we will take this opportunity to celebrate the successes, the adoptions, the new families, the smiles, the homes, and the kindness!

To everyone who played a part, whether you donated monetarily or through in-kind donations (a special shoutout to all the kitten food donations), cheered from afar, or welcomed a new family member into your home, thank you. You’re the reason these 122 happy endings were possible.
