See the Smiles: 58 Animals Adopted from PMHS in June
It’s hard to believe we’re already in July, but before we get too far into summer, we’re hitting pause to celebrate something truly special: 58 adoptions in June at Pope Memorial Humane Society!
Cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and even a rabbit all found their perfect match last month. And if you’ve noticed an influx of tiny whiskered faces, you’re not imagining it; kitten season is here. Many of our foster kittens are beginning to return to the shelter, but more than 100 remain in foster homes, growing strong and preparing for their turn to find forever families.
These adoptions wouldn’t be possible without our incredible community. To everyone who adopted, fostered, volunteered, donated, or helped share our mission—thank you. Your kindness and generosity create second chances for homeless pets every single day.
Now it’s time to celebrate! We hope this short video, featuring some of the many happy go-home moments from June, brings a smile to your face.
