Join the PMHS staff and volunteers as we celebrate Be Kind to Animals Week at Pope Memorial Humane Society on Saturday, May 7th, rain or shine, from 12 pm – 3 pm.
You’ll get to meet some furry and feathered friends, make a craft with friends from the Rockland Public Library, have some fun with the Coastal Children’s Museum, and practice at the “Be A Vet Station.” You’ll be able to play the Cats vs. Dogs beanbag toss game, create cozy blankets for foster kittens, and make a special gift for Mom for Mother’s Day (shhh, don’t tell mom). We’ll have snacks, courtesy of Shepard Auto and Shepard Storage, and weather permitting, make giant bubbles and have fun with some sidewalk chalk. There’s plenty of fun to be had, with more activities added every day!
No entry fees – just a celebration of kids, pets, and kindness! We hope you’ll join us.
