Calling all animal lovers! Mark your calendars for Kid’s Day at Pope Memorial Humane Society, a fun-filled event celebrating National Be Kind to Animals Week!
Join us on Saturday, May 11th, from 12 pm to 2 pm (rain or shine) for an afternoon filled with adorable animals, exciting activities, and heartwarming crafts.
Here’s a glimpse of the fun:
- Meet animals waiting for their forever homes.
- Become a junior vet and practice your skills at the “Be a Veterinarian Station.”
- Show off your skills in the Cats vs. Dogs beanbag toss competition.
- Spread the love by creating cozy blankets for foster kittens.
- Surprise Mom with a special Mother’s Day gift (ssshh, it’s a secret!).
- And so much more! We’re adding new activities and fun daily!
Don’t forget to bring your smiles and comfy shoes! We’ll have giant bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and other outdoor fun, weather permitting. And to keep everyone fueled for the event, we’ll have snacks thanks to Shepard Storage and Shepard Auto.
Best part? Entry is free! This event is about celebrating kindness to animals and creating lasting family memories. So come join the fun and make a difference in the lives of homeless pets. We can’t wait to see you there!
